Troubleshooting

There are a number of thing that may go wrong when installing the Snake. Here we try to adress some.

"Certificate error"

Various S60 handsets prevent installing unsigned applications by default. Snake is unsigned.

Go to Application Manager, select Options - Settings, and then Application installing. Make sure that this setting is All when you try to install Snake. The setting can be changed back to Signed only after installation if so wished.

Installing to Memory Card

For some reason, it looks like Python does not work if installed to Memory Card. Snake script is always forced to phone memory, but if downloaded installation file with Python included, the installation asks (for Python, not for Snake) where to install. Please always answer phone memory for that, too.
