Moving the install file to phone Move the installation file from PC to phone with USB Cable, Memory Card, Bluetooth, infrared, email attachment, or download the file directly from these pages to phone. Please note, however, that with some Nokia models the direct download might need some additional tricks to succeed (see the free time limited download pages). . Needed preparationsThe Snake installation files are all unsigned (for the time being). This means, there is a security setting in the phone that must allow installing any files. Make it so before trying to install. - Open Application Manager from the Menu
- Select Settings from Options
- Check what is says in Software Installation.
- If it says All then it is OK, otherwise change it to say All.
- (exit Application Manager)
Installing Snake- Find the installation file (Snake_xxx.sis) with File Manager
- Select the file (Select Open from Options menu).
- Installation will start.
- Answer Yes and Continue to all questions asked (there will be four or five Continue questions)
- When asked, select Phone Memory to install to. Memory Card won't work.
If above mentioned security setting is not OK, installation fails and there is a note about certificate error; if the security setting is OK, then all should continue fine, and Snake appear to installed folder in menu. . .
