Download the Snake now

This leads to "pay first, then download" pages. You can, after paying, download an unlimited version of the Snake game for Series60 release 3 mobile phone. There is a free version, too, but it's time limited.

If you don't care about Python for S60, and/or maybe don't even know what it is, then go to this download page:

If you, however, have downloaded, installed, and used Python for S60 earlier in your phone, and wish to keep the programming environment untouched  (please note that at least version 1.4.3 of PyS60 is needed for to run Snake), then this download page is much better for you:

• Go to pay & download page  / No Python included
• installation file does not include Python, but only Snake game Python script
• Python engine needs to have been installed separately. It can be downloaded eg. from here.

With some S60 phones, clicking the installation file link (after paying) probably just starts the installation process. However, at least some Nokia models, eg. E90, etc. have a bug that tends to open the installation file into Notepad as a crappy looking text, which leads to a dead end with the installation process .

Luckily, after fecthing a file, the browser often asks something like  "XXXX downloaded  - Open now, or Later?"; instead of Open, you need to answer Later to that, to avoid opening with Notepad. You'll then save the file later and open it separately with File Manager to start installation.

Now, if the file is small (the second installation file is), the phone possibly does not even ask this question but just opens the file with Notepad.  In such case, please use the following dummy big information text file (download it) to force the phone to ask the question (now, answer Later)!! You might need to download the installation file again after that, but finally you'll get to answer Later to the question asked for the installation file.

• Download a big enough   README.txt  file now to enable saving the second installation file.
